As a woman and a young girl, I have spent a lot of mental energy assessing my own safety in different situations. Whether it was on my way home after dark, in nightlife settings where someone refused to accept a ‘no,’ or those moments when you’re out and about and suddenly realize your friend has been out of sight a little too long, and that familiar creeping worry starts to settle in your stomach.

I am proud to call myself an ambassador and backup for all.u.me, whose mission is that we should all be able to feel a bit more free and mobile and, most importantly, that safety is not an individual responsibility, but something we share.
